The New I’D Family!

Meet the Family!

The self-braking I’D S descender is designed for work at height and rope access work.

It has an ergonomic handle that allows comfortable descent control. The integrated anti-panic function and anti-error catch limit the risk of an accident due to user error.

I’D S is compatible with 10 to 11.5 mm ropes and allows handling of loads up to 250 kg.

The I’D L self-braking descender is primarily designed for technical rescue.

The safety gate allows the rope to be installed with the device remaining connected to the harness.

I’D L is compatible with 12.5 to 13 mm ropes and allows handling of loads up to 280 kg.

anti-panic function automatically stops the descent if the user pulls too hard on the handle

It’s a Lock!

The AUTO-LOCK system allows users to easily position themselves at a work station without having to manipulate the handle or tie off the device: as soon as the user releases the handle, the rope is automatically locked in the device.

Keep it Tacti-cool!

To keep our tactical users, entertainment riggers and ninja friends happy,  all three of the new descenders are available in hard-anodized flat black finish

An Auxilliary brake has been designed for I’D S, I’D L and I’D EVAC self-braking descenders
May be used to increase the friction in accordance with the weight of the load and diameter of the rope
Open version may be used to release the rope at any time
Closed version keeps the rope captive in the system
